When was the last time you...
1. ...sent a handwritten letter?
A very, very long time. I don't recall. Probably something I sent home from college, maybe even something earlier than that. I don't handwrite very well; I hold a pencil/pen wrong, and it hurts to write like that after a short period of time. So I prefer to type.
2. ...baked something from scratch or made something by hand?
Hrm. I bake every now and then, but I think the last thing I made was cookies in February. Three batches of cake mix cookies. I keep meaning to do sugar cookies, but I never get around to it.
3. ...camped in a tent?
Probably when I was in high school. We had a tent we'd sometimes put up in the yard, and sleep out there. Maybe not high school, maybe middle school, now that I think about it.
4. ...volunteered your time to church, school, or community?
I don't. Don't belong to a church, don't go to school (though I work at one), and I'm not involved in my community. So I'd have to go all the way back to college, when I did extra work at the barn, like mucking out stalls and such.
5. ...helped a stranger?
Someone asked Lou and me for directions on the street two weeks ago, when we were walking. We hopefully gave him the right direction to go; English was not his native language, and we weren't sure what he wanted was where he thought it was. But we tried.
