Laundry Friday Five

1. How often do you do laundry?
Maybe once a week. I usually let it pile up a lot before doing it. If the washer and dryer weren't in the basement, and us on the third floor, it would probably get done more often. Especially if it was on the same floor as the bedroom.

2. What's in a typical wash load?
A load of black clothes, a load of blue, a load of red, a load of green, and a load of whites. Towels are mixed with the colors appropriate, as are sheets and pillowcases.

3. Front or top loader? Powder or liquid detergent?
Top washer, front dryer. I want to get a front-loading washer, but that will have to wait maybe a year or so. Liquid detergent, occasionally a dryer sheet (when we have them) in the dryer.

4. Do you use fabric softener in the rinse cycle?
Nope. That's what dryer sheets are for. And I got unscented sheets, so there's not a lot of scent.

5. Dryer or clothesline?
Dryer. My mom had a clothesline when we were growing up, and occasionally we'd have stuff on the line. But it's always been dryer for me and probably always will.

Lady Lavender:

Would someone please tell me where to get unscented dryer sheets? They seem to be eluding me and I have looked EVERYWHERE.....
