1. What is your favorite scary movie?
I don't have *a* favorite. Lou doesn't like scary movies, so we don't see them often.
I love Scream, because it's irreverent and fun yet scary. I love Jaws, because it's one of the classics of the genre. The Birds is also greatly scary...all that cawing just gets to me. The original movie made from Red Dragon, Manhunter, is great. And Silence of the Lambs is good, but I prefer book-Lecter over Hopkins-Lecter. He's more scary in the book, because he's so subtle.
2. What is your favorite Halloween treat?
Any candy! Though I love candy corn. But my favorite has to be the old snack-sized Snickers bars, before they made them so tiny that it's not worth eating just one.
3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume.
Nope. I love Halloween, Lou doesn't, so it makes for an "eh?" time in our apartment. I'd be more into it if we had our own house, then I'd go all out.
I don't dress up anymore, not since I went out trick-or-treating. And that was a long time ago.
4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events?
Yep! Lou's mom does a Haunted House at the library she runs, and I get to scream the scary scream that comes from nowhere and everywhere and all around you. That's fun.
But we don't go to the Field of Screams or the Factory of Terror. I used to have a pumpkin carving party, but it's so crowded in our apartment that I stopped last year.
5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year?
Nope. No one comes by our place, so we don't do anything. In fact, Lou won't even be home this year, he'll be at Stillpoint, gaming.
