I have become a poker fan. (I've actually become a Howard Lederer fangirl too) I still am cheesed at myself for missing out on the Texas Hold'em game I saw running at the Sahara when we were in Vegas (that had a full table alas, and I was so busy losing my money at Blackjack when we went back that I forgot to check for poker games).
It all started with the Celebrity Poker Showdown on Bravo, which then followed with a marathon of the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel during Christmas break. That's when I saw Howard Lederer win at Foxwoods (if I'm remembering correctly), an Indian gaming casino located about an hour's drive from me.
I'm planning on watching the last half of the WPT on Wednesdays this year. Not watching the first half because Angel is on, at least for this season, at 9:00 p.m.
But what I really want to do is play. Penny poker, with some friends. We've got a lot of pennies in a container at home, we could make it work.
If I could find a night to do it. And people who wanted to play Texas Hold'em.

We have a big jar of pennies too. If you pick a night let us know.

You know I'm rarely not good for a game...
Of course, I'm also around 2 hours away by default, so it'd have to be a time I'm already down there.
But there are plenty of those.

If I'm around, I'm always up for a game.
