When gaming and life collide

I think I first noticed this phenomenon when I was playing SimCity a lot. I would look at the landscape around me as I drove, noting which was industrial, which residential, and noting the buildings that I would tear down because of new construction.

But I do know that both Lou and I have experienced the effect with other games, especially SSX Tricky (looking for rails to ride and secret paths), the Jak series (looking for places to grind the jetboard), and other games as well.

Though I don't think I'd ever grab the wheel from him as we were driving. It does make me reconsider getting a copy of Katamari Damacy, though.

Betsy:

:-) I do the same thing with houses for Sims. (And I did duplicate Kevin and Corey's apartment once.....)
