Unlike ***Dave, I've just decided to skip the poll and go directly to requiring TypeKey registration on this blog. All the comment spam I've been getting has been going into the approval category lately, so it's not been showing up on the blog. It's just been annoying to have to go in every few days and delete.
I may eventually turn of trackback pings on all my entries as well, since it will be the only annoyance left, and I'm on my last straw.

I'm resisting turning off trackback pings if I can (and I haven't gotten nearly as many annoying attacks of that source as others, and it still seems like a keen idea).
But, yeah, I'm about 95% certain I'm going for Typekey for comments as of Friday, unless I see a hugely great reason not to.
