So, watching the rain pour down outside my work window, I'm still wondering...

Whither Winter?

I know, I know, north of me is getting socked hard, but down here? We've had nothing. Some snow this morning that made the commute slow, but now it's simply rain rain rain.

*le sigh*

I guess this will be one of those winters where we never get the true Nor'easter that socks it to coastal New England. I'd still love at least an inch that lasted more than half a day, tho.

Since Star Wars has pretty much been on repeat on the cable channels these days, I kept meaning to link Lou to this, and never remembered. So now I did, and I am.

BTW, it's snowing out! And it's sticking! And it's STILL snowing! Yay!!!

Paquin Bites Into True Blood

I heard about this first on my RomSF list this morning. They're renaming the Southern Vampire series True Blood, but here's hoping they can make the series work without changing too much of it.

And for those into vampires, make sure to catch Blood Ties the Tanya Huff detective series (okay, it does have a vampire as one of the main characters, he's also a romance novelist!) when it premieres on Lifetime next month.
