In typical pet-owned fashion, our cats, named Athena and Artemis, rarely are called by their given names. Nicknames have evolved, with Artemis most often being called Missy (though she also is called Miss Artemis, Missy Artemissy, Missyhead, Burble-a-kitty, Noodge, Dolphin Kitty, and Fuzzbutt) and Athena often being called Beana (her nicknames include Elephant Butt, Thena Weena Magic Beana, Thena Weena Super Beana, Miss Beana, Thena, and Dim Mak Kitty).
